NEC new & improved prototype laptop with built-in fuel cell

In October 2004, NEC showed its new prototype notebook PC powered by its own fuel cell unit.

This notebook marks a big improvement over NEC’s previous fuel cell efforts with what is effectively a 20% reduction in the size of the cell for the same power output.
