Kontrax is constructing local computer networks at schools in six districts of the country

Despite the harsh competition between some 200 companies, Kontrax managed to win the cabling of six out of twenty eight districts. The task was delegated by the agency “Development of information and communication technologies”. The auction was done online and the major criterion was the price.

The contract fulfillment includes the construction of cable systems for 293 computer halls (a total of 2680 ports) in the districts of Montana, Vidin, Lovech, Shoumen, Varna, and Silistra. All systems will be unshielded, cat. 5e. The short contract period of only twenty days requires the simultaneous use of ten teams as well as facing complicated logistic situations. Additional problems are created because of the obligatory test of every port and the preparation of executive documentation for all 239 halls.
