Purpose of the project
Delivery, installation, configuration and commissioning of firewalls of a new generation, including software licenses to provide functionality in network security and building high fault tolerance. The scope of the contract also includes warranty maintenance for a period of 24 months.
Periods and implementation
2 firewalls Dell SonicWall NSA 3600 of a new generations were delivered, installed and set up, along with the necessary software licenses. The period for delivery, activation of licenses and commissioning of the equipment was fifteen (15) working days. The duration of technical maintenance is 2 (two) years. Kontrax managed to complete the project within the deadlines and without allowing any interruption in the bank’s network connectivity.
Effect of the solution
The implemented equipment allows for the building of a secure network and protects the bank from a large number of cyber attacks. Thus, greater security is achieved of the data Municipal Bank works with, and the overall risk to the organization from hacker attacks is reduced. The high fault tolerance between the two devices guarantees continuity of network security in case one of the devices falls behind and adds extra reliability in the system, eliminating the “single point of failure” from the entrance of the network. The provided warranty ensures clear and fast response times and troubleshooting on the devices or software security faults.
