This year the conference of the European Emergency Number Association (EENA) gathered again the experts and operators of the emergency services in Europe together with the leading companies that develop and implement solutions and specialized technologies for the 112 emergency services, as one of them was Kontrax. Topical themes were discussed, such as the collapse of the communication structure that happened recently after the devastating earthquake in Turkey; the problems with the implementation of the AML – technology for transmitting the exact coordinates of the man in trouble, who send the signal; the satellite communication for emergency calls; the challenges related to the servicing of people with hearing and speaking impairment, and in particular RTT (real time text), and the experience of younger people with disabilities, who are used to the text messages; the automated sending of signals for accidents, eCall, etc.
