On 26 July, for the first time in history, children from Bulgaria, will be able to present their questions before the astronauts of the International Space Station.
Till 6 July, children and youths, at the age of 6 to 19, have the chance to send their question to the astronauts from Expedition 65 of the International Space Stations. They have to record a 20—second video in English, following the instructions given on the following link: http://www.hello-space.eu/#question or to visit TechnoMagicLand, Sofia Tech Park on 6 July, during the whole day, for support in preparing their video-questions.
“The live connection with the NASA astronauts will take place on 26 July, in Sofia Tech Park. The event will take place in the Science Forum.
The video connection with the astronauts from the open space will be the culmination of the one-day forum on 26 June, which purpose will be to stretch the imagination of children and youths, and to inspire them to dream beyond the Earth orbit towards the Moon, Venus, Mars and beyond.
The initiative is organized by the Bulgarian Atlantic Club, the US Embassy, a cluster of 30 educational and non-governmental organization in the field of STEM, and the Ministry of Education and Science. KONTRAX supports the initiative and will take part in the STEM Forum on 26 July. Our stand will be in the lobby of John Atanasov hall in Sofia Tech Park, where the visitors will be able to communicate with our robots Nao, Pepper and Fable, as well as to immerse themselves in the world of science with the help of the new technologies.
