On April 27th, 2017 the wheeled armoured vehicle PIRANHA was officially presented on Tyulbeto military firing ground, near town of Kazanluk. General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS), together with their partners from General Dynamics Mission Systems and Rafael Advanced Defence Systems, demonstrated the operation of PIRANHA equipped with remote control system for 30 mm weapon, in compliance with NATO standards, antitank self-directing missile system, as well as fully integrated communication and information system, in relation to the application under the Programme for the development of defensive capacities of Bulgarian armed forces 2020.
GDELS and company partners completed successfully the 3-day demonstration that included shooting, at the presence of state administration representatives, Ministry of Defence, commanding of Bulgarian Army, and diplomats.
