At the end of April 2023 Fujitsu announced the new quad processor server PRIMERGY RX4770 M7.
The server provides high performance due its four processors - scalable Intel® Xeon® 4th generation, in an optimized 3U body. The system allows addressing of huge data arrays with up to 64 DDR5 RDIMM modules and up to 16 TB memory. The new improved DDR5 modules provide fast memory (up to 4800 MT/s) with high capacity for high demand applications in the operating memory, such as AI and data analysis. Furthermore, the server provides for scalability of the capacity and performance with up to 24x 2,5" SAS/SATA/NVMe disks, up to two GPU cards of double width, full length, selection of LAN adapters through OCPv3, as well as 10 PCI-Express 5.0 slots.
PRIMERGY RX4770 M7 is the perfect server for the business-critical demands, implementation of AI, wide scale virtualization, back-end and database with intensive data processing in the operating memory, such as SAP S/4HANA and common application of intense data use, where the high performance, reliability, and efficiency are of particular importance.
