On August 25, 2026, the companies of KONTRAX Group, together with the Honorary Consul General of Hungary in Bulgaria, Mr. Jordan Jordanov, had the exceptional honor of supporting and organizing the visit of the world-renowned Children’s Philharmonic from Szentegyháza (Vlăhița), Romania.

The acclaimed ensemble „Fili“ / Szentegyházi Gyermekfilharmónia, comprising over 140 ethnic Hungarian children, was founded 44 years ago by maestro Sándor Haáz in the small town of Szentegyháza, located in the heart of the Szeklerland. Today, the orchestra enjoys wide international acclaim with over 1,000 concerts performed across Europe and around the globe. The young musicians—students from local schools—captivated the Bulgarian audience with masterful renditions of Hungarian folk songs, classical works by Bach, Brahms, and Strauss, sacred music, and patriotic pieces performed in multiple languages, including Bulgarian.
Official guests at the festive concert in Sofia included representatives from the Embassy of Hungary and the Embassy of Romania in Bulgaria. Their presence was a meaningful recognition of the event’s high value as a symbol of cultural exchange and diplomatic friendship.
This year’s tour of the Children’s Philharmonic is dedicated to the historical path of John Hunyadi, whose legacy is deeply interwoven with Bulgarian history during the 1443–1444 campaigns. Before winning over the Sofia audience, the young talents delivered an unforgettable performance for the residents and guests of Pleven.
📺 Highlights from the concert, behind-the-scenes moments, and the story of these young musicians were featured in a special report by Bulgarian National Television.

The most moving aspect of the visit was the personal involvement of the entire KONTRAX Group team. Team members opened their homes to host the children during their stay in Sofia. This warm gesture turned the event into far more than a musical celebration—it became a genuine showcase of hospitality and togetherness among the people of Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the diplomatic missions of both countries for supporting and honoring the children’s performances.
“It was a true joy and privilege for us to host these extraordinary children. The music they create with such pure energy, paired with the warmth our team showed in welcoming them into our homes, proves that true values know no borders,” shared Mr. Jordan Jordanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KONTRAX AD and Honorary Consul General of Hungary in Bulgaria.
KONTRAX continues to support socially significant causes, empower young talent, and preserve historical memory, reaffirming its commitment as a company where people and values always come first.
